Terms of Service
DreamTales (dreamtales.no) is a consumer web app that generates personalized, illustrated and narrated bedtime stories for families using Vertex AI (Gemini text/image/TTS).
The service
DreamTales generates personalized AI bedtime stories for the children in one household. It is for personal, private use by you and your family.
DreamTales is provided by Inntrykk (org.nr 936 462 855), Galgeberg 3E, 0657 Oslo. For anything about these terms, email kontakt@dreamtales.no.
Subscription and billing
A subscription is 179 kr per month, or 1799 kr per year. There is no free trial. The plan you choose is charged from the day you subscribe, and the price shown at checkout is the one that applies to you.
Payment is handled by our payment provider, Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Dashboard → Account → Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's billing portal; your subscription then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. Note: deleting your account does not automatically cancel the subscription: cancel it first.
Story packs
You can also buy a story pack as a one-time purchase: 5 stories for 199 kr, or 10 stories for 349 kr. Pack stories never expire, are separate from a subscription, and are not a recurring charge: you are charged once, when you buy the pack.
How many stories you get
A subscription credits 5 new stories to your household at the start of each calendar month. Unused stories roll over, up to a ceiling of 10 stored subscription stories. They wait for you, but the balance stops growing at 10. Stories bought in a pack are counted separately and never expire.
Right of withdrawal
You keep your full 14-day right of withdrawal for as long as no story has been generated. As a consumer buying at a distance you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and until your first story is generated you can withdraw from the purchase and get your money back. To withdraw, email us at kontakt@dreamtales.no, or use the standardized cancellation form from the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet).
The right of withdrawal lapses the moment your first story is generated. DreamTales stories are digital content that is created and delivered immediately, so at checkout you consent to delivery starting right away and to the right of withdrawal being lost once your first story has been generated. This follows the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven § 22 letter n).
This applies to both subscriptions and one-time story packs, since both deliver digital content immediately. In short: no story generated means a full refund. You receive confirmation of your purchase on a durable medium through Stripe's payment receipt.
Content
Stories are AI-generated, screened by a server-side content filter, and reportable from inside the player. They are provided for your family's private enjoyment, as-is, without warranties.
Ending your account
You can delete your account and all its data yourself at any time. We may close accounts that abuse the service.
